Melissa has appeared twice on the Today Show and had a fantastic response both times. Mums and Mums to be are certainly agreeing that women need all the support and encouragement they can get when they start their breastfeeding journey. Author Melissa Macdonald recently spoke at the 'Sydney Baby and Toddler Show' to an overwhelming response. Her topic - "Breastfeeding, what you really need to know", was popular with first time mums and mothers who had problems with their first baby wanting to know where they went wrong. Melissa's no guilt or pressure approach was about providing realistic advice with encouragement and support. Since the launch of the book in May 2010, book sales have been overwhelming. The book is sold in over 400 bookstores across Australia, online and in several baby stores across Australia with more fabulous retailers announced soon. The USA version ebook will be launched in August 2011 with coauthor Tatyanna Wright of 'Haute Mama' fame.
