Q: How do I purchase an item?

To purchase the book press the 'buy now' button or 'buy book now' button on the home page and then the 'add to cart' button. You can also purchase products in the 'useful resources' section by clicking on the words below the picture and then pressing the 'add to cart' button. Once you have finished shopping and want to pay, simply click the 'checkout' button at the top of your screen under the header picture. This will take you to the checkout and follow the instructions from there. Any problems, email us at orders@breastfeedingbook.com.au

Q: What are your shipping options?

Australian Orders
At checkout you can choose either standard or express delivery.These prices are for anywhere in Australia.Standard delivery is $5.00 (flat rate) for items up to $60 after that it's a flat rate of $9.95 and Express delivery is $14 (flat rate).

We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours.
Standard delivery may take up to 4 days for east coast and 5 days for the west coast.

International Orders
We have flat rates for international orders in certain countries. If your country is not listed we can work out a postage price, just email us on askme@breastfeedingbook.com.au

For New Zealand it is a flat rate of $18 (Australian Dollars) for registered post and for the UK , USA , Canada, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, South Africa:FLAT RATE SHIPPING $27(Australian Dollars) for registers post parcels.

An additional duty may be charged to the customer in some countries (these charges are not paid by us)

Shipping confirmation
You will receive a shipping confirmation email from us on the day your order is sent. Occasionally these end up in spam folders courtesy of overactive filters so please ensure you add Breastfeeding Book to your list of safe recipients. You can also log into your Breastfeeding Book account to check your order status. See your confirmation email for the link.

Q: What if my product(s) is damaged?

Our employees inspect all orders prior to packing to ensure they are in as new, undamaged condition and they are carefully packaged for safe delivery transit under normal circumstances. Once a parcel is handed to our delivery carriers it is beyond our control and as such, we cannot be responsible for loss or damage. Although it is rare for a parcel to go missing or arrive damaged, occasionally this does occur.

If your order has not arrived as expected, please check if you have allowed enough time for delivery: transit times are the number of business days after your order has been sent. The majority of parcels arrive within this time frame however please allow an additional few days in case of unexpected delays or for remote locations. Please see your shipping confirmation email for your parcel tracking number and a web link on how to locate your delivery. Should you experience difficulties in locating your parcel after following the above instructions, please contact us for assistance. Tips: Respond to delivery calling cards ASAP to avoid the risk of your parcel being returned to sender. If your parcel was sent with Australia Post, please visit your local post office as it may be awaiting collection - delivery calling cards occasionally get mixed up with junk mail or accidently tossed out.
Please note that 'Real Mums Tell You How Pty Ltd' cannot be held responsible for parcels that are lost or damaged and all risk passes to the customer once a parcel has been handed to Australia Post or courier for delivery. Insurance for loss and damage is available for optional purchase by the customer to cover against this risk. Australia Post and courier companies are responsible for all shipping issues, and any claims for loss or damage must be made directly with them.

Undeliverable Parcels
If you are not at home when your package is to be delivered we can leave it at your door only if the courier can obtain access to your doorstep. Therefore if you live in an apartment block this might be difficult. If the courier is unable to leave the package then it will be redirected to the nearest depot for Australian Post. They will leave a card telling you they missed you and you can pick it up from your local post office.

Q: How do I place an order?

Add items to your shopping cart by clicking on the "Add to Cart" button located next to each product. To edit quantities or remove items, click on the "Edit Items" button at the bottom of your shopping cart. When you're ready to place your order, click on the "Checkout" button at the bottom of your shopping cart or on the header at the top of the screen. You'll be taken to our secure checkout to create or login to your account and finalise your order.

Q: What payment options do I have?

Credit Card: cWe accept Mastercard and Visa only. All credit cards are processed through Commenwealth Bank and you are therefore assured of security.

PayPal: We accept PayPal payments. Please visit www.paypal.com.au for information about their secure third party banking system.

Direct Deposit: We accept direct bank transfers (online banking and branch deposits

Q: Is tax included in your price?

Yes, GST is included in our price for all items and all prices are in Australian Dollars. Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10% is included in the prices displayed. International customers shipping outside of Australia are not required to pay GST: this amount is automatically deducted during checkout.
